Mauricio Casals was born in Barcelona in 1949. He holds a Degree in Law from the Universidad Central de Barcelona. He has spent his career in the field of consultancy. Currently, he is Chairman of the Board of Directors of AUDIOVISUAL ESPAÑOLA 2000, S.L. (La Razón) member of the Board of Directors of Atresmedia Corporación since 2009. He is a trustee of Fundación Atresmedia and Fundación Quirón, as representative of La Razón, a member of the Board of Trustees of FAD and of the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía.
