The media and the companies managing it have two-fold responsibility. On the one hand, their essential responsibility as key players in social and cultural development and in the measurement of reality.  On the other hand, their own corporate responsibility which, like any organisation, must be present at internal and external level in the area in which they operate.

In the first table of debate, challenges will be addressed in areas such as the measurement of reality, suitability of contents, accessibility to information or transparency. This table will comprise executives of companies such as RTVE, Atresmedia, PRISA, Unidad Editorial. 

The second table will be earmarked to an in-depth examination of social responsibility in the media, its involvement in good governance, environmental and social responsibility and the management of relationships with groups of interest. The speakers at this table will be Mediaset, the Joly Group, Vocento and the Zeta Group. A Symposium that will examine in depth and debate on key matters such as the social role of the media and the influence it may exert or the model it generates as a socially responsible company.
