The association Esclerosis Múltiple España (EME) has launched a social awareness campaign on this neurological disease that, according to data from its Medical Advisory Committee, affects 55,000 people in Spain. This campaign aims to raise public awareness about this disease and raise funds for its research.

This support is part of the pro bono project of Atresmedia Group through which it broadcast free-of-charge advertising communications to social entities that meet certain requirements. Through this initiative, the Company disseminates the work of numerous foundations and associations that serve people with disabilities, broadcasting their spots on all Atresmedia television channels, radio stations and digital platforms. These campaigns allow them to increase their number of members, as well as their ability to raise awareness about the social problem in which they work.

Mójate por la EM is an event that has been going on since 1994 and to which entities, beaches, swimming pools, volunteers and celebrities join each year. They all make the disease visible with the goal of improving the quality of care for affected people and this year it takes place on July 11. The Esclerosis Múltiple España association was born in 1996 with the aim of creating a state organization to help people with MS, publicize the disease and raise funds for their research.
