Under the heading 'Move for ALS', Fundación Luzón has developed a communication campaign that aims to raise awareness about the reality of this serious disease that paralyzes but "can never stop the movement of technology, science and medicine looking for a cure ”. The initiative highlights that the most necessary movement is the collaboration of all "so that nothing stops." Atresmedia, as it did in 2020, has once again supported the foundation using its dissemination capacity and broadcasting the campaign materials on all its television channels, radio stations and digital platforms.

In Spain, every day, 3 new cases of ALS are diagnosed and 3 people die from this disease. Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects motor neurons in the brain while intellectual abilities remain intact. It is a disease of which the causes are unknown and, for the moment, incurable. For this reason, Fundación Luzón works to improve the quality of life of people with ALS together with the Associations of Patients, researchers and health professionals.

This support is part of the pro bono project of Atresmedia Group through which it broadcast free-of-charge advertising communications to social entities that meet certain requirements. Through this initiative, the Company disseminates the work of numerous foundations and associations that serve people with disabilities, broadcasting their spots on all Atresmedia television channels, radio stations and digital platforms. These campaigns allow them to increase their number of members, as well as their ability to raise awareness about the social problem in which they work.
