Atresmedia Group offered viewers the best coverage and the best analysis of the Conference, with a whole corporate image created to foster this global event. For this programming, a special image was designed with a logo, curtains and a closing of promos under the motto ‘Juntos x el Clima’. In addition, Atresmedia internally communicated a series of tips to be more sustainable daily, learn to recycle correctly and reduce the carbon footprint, and gave its workers a gift to encourage a reduction on the use of plastic.

Antena 3 Noticias carried out a special coverage of the Summit in all its news editions as well as in ‘Espejo Público’ and ‘Tu tiempo’ with a series of special reports on the climate. Mercedes Martín and Roberto Brasero took the lead on the special program on the Antena 3 Noticias website, which collected all the information and produced special pieces focusing on initiatives that help preserve the environment and slow down climate change.

For its part, laSexta Noticias had specific coverage of the Conference, both in its news editions and in ‘Al rojo vivo’, ‘Más vale tarde’, ‘laSexta Noche’, ‘Estación laSexta’ and ‘El objetivo’. In addition, ‘Enviado Especial’ issued, coinciding with the Summit, the programs ‘The country of energy transition’ and ‘The country of protein’. ‘LaSexta Columna’ and ‘Equipo de Investigación’ with the episode ‘Toxic Air’, broadcast programs on climate change that week. Also, under the Corporate Responsibility Hazte Eco campaign, Neox broadcasted a marathon of 'The Simpsons' episodes on climate change. Flooxer, the young Atresmedia channel available on ATRESplayer, prepared ‘We have to talk: Together 4 the climate’, an original program that, through a debate, brought the problem of climate change closer to young people.

And on social networks, Atresmedia launched a series of actions, including interactive games about the weather.

Atresmedia, committed to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) also in matters of climate change and the environment, carried out a series of informative actions among its employees during the days of the Conference.

The Company has an Environmental Policy since 2010 that has been updated in 2019 in order to adapt to new environmental challenges and support the achievement of SDG 13 and periodically implements internal awareness-raising actions. In 2019, Atresmedia eliminated plastic bottles, which has meant a reduction of more than 2 tons of plastic per year.

In addition, Atresmedia is part of the Forética Climate Change and Environment Cluster, is committed to the Media Declaration on Climate Change and annually publish the CDP Report on Climate Change in which it communicates its environmental performance.
