The first two volunteer shifts took place in January and May 2013, with 20 ATRESMEDIA volunteers helping in the kitchen with preparation of the daily meal, serving clients in the dining room and cleaning up after the meal service. Together, the volunteers helped distribute food to more than 1,400 people.

ATRESMEDIA has entered into a co-operation agreement with the Voluntarios por Madrid Foundation, through which ATRESMEDIA volunteers will periodically help out at the Santa María Josefa Soup Kitchen in Vallecas, Madrid.
