Atresmedia volunteers take a part in the “Let me take you out to dinner”

On Sunday, December 18th, the “Let me take you out to dinner” event for families at risk of social exclusion that are unable to celebrate Christmas dinner, was held for the fourth year in a row.

“Let me take you out to dinner” is an initiative promoted by various charity groups belonging to Compañía de las Obras, which assists groups at risk of social exclusion, all driven by the same goal: to help people in need. The participating associations include the Banco de Solidaridad, the Casa de San Antonio, CESAL NGO and the Fundación Acogida.

This fourth edition, held at Madrid’s Palacio Municipal de Congresos, featured more than 500 volunteers, with some of Spain’s best chefs preparing the dinner menu. Over eight hundred people, including unemployed immigrants, homeless people and poverty-stricken families, enjoyed this very special Christmas event.

Thirty-three Atresmedia employees volunteered at the event, helping out with various tasks such as preparing meals, greeting guests, wrapping gifts and serving food.
