More than 40 Atresmedia volunteers collaborate with Juan XXIII Foundation on the Give & Gain week 2017

In the Give & Gain context, organized in Spain by Forética as the Corporate Volunteering International Week, more than 40 volunteers from Atresmedia group collaborated with Juan XXIII Foundation on their de organic garden along with people with intellectual disabilities.

During the activity, volunteers and foundation users worked as a team recollecting different types of organically grown vegetables (42 kilograms in total). In addition, they weeded 290 square meters of a pea planting. The Juan XXIII Foundation Organic Garden does an extraordinary job on labour integration and environmental sustainability.

This edition of the Corporate Volunteering International Week (from 21 to 28 April) was presented in Atresmedia headquarters, as the company has been the project media partner since 2014. The present Give & Gain in Spain has brought together 56 companies, 88 NGOs, 1.200 volunteers and 7.000 beneficiaries.
