Atresmedia has adapted its Corporate Volunteer Program to the difficult situation in our country, to put at the service of the people most affected by loneliness the skills and time of its employees. Thus, during this generalized quarantine, Atresmedia Volunteers with their family and friends are supporting three solidarity initiatives developed by various non-profit entities.

On the one hand, we are sending letters to isolated patients in hospitals due to the coronavirus through the project 'No te conozco, pero aquí estoy' -'I don't know you, but here I am'-, managed by the young people of Tatiana Pérez de Guzmán el Bueno Foundation. The letters of encouragement of our volunteers are reaching different hospitals throughout Spain through a network of contacts in the health system that the project owns.

Secondly, we are making phone calls to people with disabilities who are alone in their homes thanks to ONCE Foundation to improve the support of this group. Thanks to the exchange of experiences, we are helping each other to live better this period of isolation.

Finally, in collaboration with Adopta un Abuelo NGO and the Madrid City Council, we are participating in the initiative 'Minutos de compañía' -'Company minutes'-, which consists of accompanying old people in the capital who are alone in their homes, residences or hospitals by telephone calls, fighting in this way the loneliness derived from this terrible situation.

Now more than ever volunteers are essential to accompany these groups by donating their time, and from Atresmedia Volunteers we will continue expanding the activities of #AisladosPeroNoSolos to the best of our ability.
