Atresmedia Volunteers collaborate again with the solidarity initiative ‘Te invito a cenar’

The solidarity event ‘Te invito a cenar' held its seventh edition at Palacio Municipal de Congresos de Madrid thanks to the volunteering effort of more than 500 people, like Atresmedia Volunteers, who served a special Christmas dinner for a thousand people at risk of exclusion.

For the sixth year running, 17 volunteers from Atresmedia collaborated with this solidarity initiative that is promoted by different social associations belonging to the Compañía de las Obras which mission is to accompany socially excluded groups. In this way, the beneficiary associations invited more than 1,000 guests to enjoy the Christmas dinner. In this seventh edition, the charities were: Compañía De Las Obras, Casa De San Antonio, Banco De Solidaridad, Bocatas, Cesal, Fundación Acogida, Proyecto Miriam and Estela de cometa.

The event took place in Palacio Municipal de Congresos de Madrid and was prepared by 24 recognized chefs, who made the different tapas of the cocktail and the menu. Volunteers helped with the cooking tasks, welcoming guests, packing gifts for the children and serving as waiters at the tables.
