A diverse team of professionals engaged in volunteer and diversity management, both in corporate entities and social organizations associated with the Voluntare network, has formed the core team for this project, with the participation of Atresmedia. Over the past months, they have analyzed how corporate volunteering contributes to diversity and inclusion in businesses and the connections between these themes.

Therefore, the event coordinated by Volies, will reveal the results of this work. Diversity management holds strategic significance for Atresmedia and is a primary focus of their 16-year-old corporate volunteering program. Through activities aligned with their corporate values, Atresmedia ensures that its employees gain insight into the realities of different communities. To broaden awareness of the values of equality, diversity, and equity, their employees' participation in these activities extends to their family and friends.

The event will unveil the main findings of the study conducted by this task force, along with some best practices in the field of business and social entities. Managing diversity has evolved from being an option to becoming a societal necessity. From media representation to the voices of vulnerable communities, contemporary society demands inclusion and belonging. How can businesses contribute to this transformation? According to Voluntare, one of the answers may lie in corporate volunteering.

Organizations that incorporate corporate volunteering into their strategy not only promote awareness of various social and environmental issues but also provide employees with the opportunity to learn about different cultures and realities.
