This commitment is reflected in Atresmedia’s General Sustainability Policy, reinforcing the protection mechanisms the Group has in place to safeguard minors in two key areas: television content and commercial communications.

Among the measures and mechanisms related to television content are:

  • Content rating system: Atresmedia applies age ratings to all its content, distinguishing the following categories: suitable for all audiences, +7, +12, +16, 18, and X.
  • Parental controls: The atresplayer platform includes a parental control system and a special family subscription that allows for differentiated profiles with varying levels of access to content.
  • Entertainment content for children: Through the Neox Kids channel on atresplayer, Atresmedia offers a wide range of entertainment primarily aimed at children. In addition, through the AMIBOX channel of Fundación Atresmedia, also available on atresplayer, children aged 6 to 15 can learn about media, information, and digital literacy.

Among the measures and mechanisms related to commercial communications are:

Application of ethical codes relating to children: Atresmedia Publicidad applies all relevant ethical codes to which it is committed in its commercial communications and complies with the General Audiovisual Communication Law regarding the placement of advertising, ensuring that commercial communications are not broadcast alongside children’s programming.
