Through this adhesion, Atresmedia undertakes to implement and follow the principles and recommendations agreed in the Pact in order to educate its users, clients and employees about the value of privacy and also request the urgent elimination of sexual and violent content disseminated without consent on the Internet.

The Digital Pact for the Protection of People is formed by three documents: the adhesion letter, the responsability commitment in the digital field and the good privacy practices decalogue, addressed to the media and organizations with their own dissemination channels. This Project is a groundbreaker initiative and, by joining, Atresmedia Group assumes a series of commitments related to security in the digital sphere.

The Pact seeks to promote transparency in data protection issues, making them compatible with innovation, ethics, business competitiveness and the awareness of minors of the consequences of disseminating sensitive content on the Internet. One of the measures that stands out is the creation of Canal Prioritario (Priority Channel), a citizen service, easily accessible and with the aim of requesting the urgent removal of sexual or violent content on the internet. The SDPA initiative works with the goal that citizens always know what data is being collected and what it is used for, promote gender equality and the protection of children, as well as avoid algorithmic discrimination based on race, origin, belief, religion or sex, among others.

After joining the adhesion letter, Atresmedia incorporates into its principles the recommendations contemplated in the other two documents and undertakes to disseminate the resources and tools that the Agency has launched to help raise awareness about the value of privacy and the importance of the treatment of personal data, also in the work environment.
