The forum, which has established itself as the leading business meeting on sustainability in Spain, was held on September 14 (10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. CEST Time), and featured the participation of more than 20 leading speakers in sustainability, among whom were international opinion leaders, noted for their contribution to business sustainability, such as Helena Viñes, president of the Sustainable Finance Platform of the European Commission and advisor to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV); Eva Zabey, CEO of Business for Nature; Fiona Watson, Senior Director of Redefining Value at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD); Uxío Malvido, head of People Services and Partnering at the World Economic Forum; and Giorgia Miccoli, senior project manager on EU Affairs at CSR Europe.

Mr. Javier Bardají, CEO of Atresmedia, spoke addressing the need to increase the sustainability ambition of companies and the future of ESG issues from the vision of the CEOs together with Mr. Giuseppe Chiericatti, general director of Chiesi Spain; Ms. Ana Paula Marques, CEO EDP Spain; Mr. Alejandro Beltrán, Managing Partner of McKinsey & Company Iberia and Mr. Alberto Granados, President of Microsoft Spain.

In the 11th edition of ESG Spain, the keys to business action in response to these challenges were analyzed, along with other notable topics such as the challenges and opportunities of Generative Artificial Intelligence or the impact on companies of new regulations at the European level in terms of due diligence and business transparency.

The forum was produced by Atresmedia from the Royal Tapestry Factory in Madrid, hosted by Esther Vaquero, presenter of Antena 3 Noticias and followed via streaming.
