The online class that has launched the collaboration of Atresmedia with Fundación Aladina’s
leisure project, had the participation of two volunteers from the Group,
professional television makeup artists, who digitally taught a class on makeup
to a group of teenagers with cancer. The workshop was broadcast live from the makeup
room of Atresmedia, the usual workplace of the volunteers who carried it out.
The
personal image specialists who participated in this digital volunteering action, adapted to the health emergency situation we are experiencing, taught
the girls numerous makeup tricks, techniques and trends. Oncology patients were
able to hear first-hand how they work with news anchors and various
entertainment programs presenters and had the opportunity to greet Roberto
Brasero, host of ‘Tu Tiempo’ on Antena 3 Noticias.
This new
corporate volunteering project is part of the collaboration agreement that
Atresmedia reached with Fundación Aladina in 2018 to support children and young
people who are going through cancer. The support of the Company in these years
has been developed through two main lines: through the Corporate Volunteering
Program and through the commitment to disseminate at no cost through its media
the social work carried out by the entity.
