Through their personal stories, viewers discovered Alejandro’s ingenuity, Fernando’s passion for running races and Laura’s love of photography, among other colleagues from different areas of Atresmedia. The video, under the claim “#WhatMakesUsUnique”, highlighted that what defines each of them is not their disability, but their talents, interests and passions. Indirectly, it also helped raise awareness that not all disabilities are visible and that each person experiences disability differently.

Atresmedia believes that every person has the opportunity to contribute through their own unique potential, which is what truly enriches diversity within the workforce and strengthens an inclusive working environment. The media group remains committed to promoting equal opportunities and combating discrimination in all its forms, including age, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion and disability, helping to build more equal and inclusive environments.

In addition, through its audiovisual training programme for people with disabilities, Atresmedia has already awarded more than 200 “Becas Capaz” scholarships in collaboration with organisations such as Fundación Capacis, Fundación Integra, Fundación Universia, Randstad and Eurofirms.
