However, only around 18% of the SDG targets are currently on track. This anniversary is therefore a collective call toreflect on what has been achieved and to focus on the challenges that remain.

Where do we stand today?

According to the 2025 Sustainable Development Report, global progress has stalled: fewer than 20% of the targets are advancing at a pace consistent with the 2030 timeline.

In Spain, while the formal commitment to the 2030 Agenda remains firm, progress is uneven. Goals related to education, employment and reducing inequalities show visible improvements, while others — such as responsible consumption, life below water, and institutional sustainability — face stagnation or setbacks.

Atresmedia’s commitment

In this context, Atresmedia joins the tenth anniversary of the SDGs with a moment of reflection. The major global challenges of our time — from rising hunger and the worsening effects of climate change to armed conflicts and the spread of disinformation — require cooperation from all sectors of society.

Atresmedia contributes through its media channels and stations, providing rigorous and reliable information on these issues. In addition, the Group strengthens its commitment by developing social and environmental initiatives that help build a fairer and more sustainable world.
