Once again, Atresmedia has been recognized as one of Europe’s climate leaders in the 5th edition of the annual ranking published by the Financial Times in collaboration with Statista, Europe’s Climate Leaders. This ranking aims to highlight European companies making the most progress in reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. In this latest edition, the climate performance of 600 European companies was assessed.

Atresmedia has improved its position compared to the previous year, reaching 75.8 points (up from 73 in 2024), ranking 6th among Spanish companies—climbing 7 positions—and remaining the only Spanish media company recognized in the list. Within the European media sector, Atresmedia ranks 4th, behind only Alma Media, ITV, and Pearson.

This recognition reflects Atresmedia's decarbonization strategy and its strong commitment to significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The Group’s Net Zero strategy has led to a reduction of more than 80% in scope 1 and 2 emissions compared to 2019, bringing it closer to its 2030 decarbonization goal of -86.1%.

In 2025, Atresmedia will continue advancing its emissions reduction strategy, with a special focus on managing and reducing scope 3 emissions generated throughout its value chain.
