The Atresmedia Audiovisual division is the core of the Group’s business and is oriented towards the creation, production and distribution of news and entertainment content that stands out for its quality and appeal to all types of audiences. The Group offers this content through its linear television channels and its OTT platform atresplayer, as well as through film production by Atresmedia Cine and Buendía Estudios, a company in which the Atresmedia Group holds a 50% stake.

In addition, in 2025 Atresmedia strengthened its commitment to promoting the audiovisual sector by participating in the creation of a new production company, Play N’Sábado, jointly owned (50%) with Sábado Películas and Playtime. This initiative fosters collaboration with production companies and top talent, drives innovative creative projects and establishes long-term strategic partnerships, contributing to the sustainability and diversification of the national film industry.

The monetisation model of this business line includes revenue from content rights sales, international distribution, atresplayer premium subscriptions and digital advertising. To achieve this, it relies on advanced technology and innovative content that enables it to attract both national and international audiences.

Atresmedia Televisión is one of the Group’s main business lines and a key source of revenue. Through its six television channels, it offers audiences a diverse and innovative programming schedule that combines high-quality news and entertainment, ensuring a safe and attractive environment for both viewers and advertisers. For years, Atresmedia Televisión has promoted a socially responsible television model that fosters critical thinking, combats misinformation, gives a voice to minorities and promotes pluralism and diversity. Its ability to generate original and relevant content allows it to reach all types of audiences, regardless of the medium or device used.

Atresplayer, for its part, has consolidated its position as the leading OTT platform in Spain, offering exclusive entertainment content as well as access to all content from Atresmedia Televisión channels.

In line with its commitment to social adaptation and resilience, Atresmedia dedicates part of its airtime and programmes to environmental issues and the fight against climate change. One example is Antena 3 Noticias, which since 2023 includes the “Climate, Society and Culture” section aimed at providing coverage of climate change and reinforcing its commitment to the future of the planet and sustainability. Likewise, laSexta incorporates climate-related content as a cross-cutting issue across its programming.
