Advances in the field of technology and the expansion of artificial intelligence tools are bringing about rapid, constant and significant changes that affect the reality of companies. Atresmedia has worked, and continues to work, to accelerate its adaptation to these new environments and to be prepared to seize the opportunities they present, while also being able to address the risks arising from their use.

As part of its business strategy, the Group has therefore implemented transformation plans and projects that allow it to take advantage of technology and become more flexible and efficient, while pursuing the continuous improvement of its business processes, both in terms of content generation and the efficient management of its corporate processes. In light of this evolution and the potential represented by Artificial Intelligence, Atresmedia has progressively incorporated different tools into its daily operations, always guaranteeing their ethical and responsible use.

In this context, in 2023 it drafted its first Policy for the Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence and Related Tools, which sets out the commitments and principles of action to ensure the safe, responsible and transparent use of Artificial Intelligence tools, particularly large language models. In addition, the Group has an Artificial Intelligence Committee made up of representatives from business divisions, technology, legal, human resources and information security, in order to address the most relevant issues in this area. This Committee is also supported by an operational and complementary working group that meets at least monthly and according to business needs.

Furthermore, since 2024 the Group has supported Forética’s Manifesto for Responsible and Sustainable Artificial Intelligence and adheres to the five principles and specifications it contains, which companies should consider as guidance on their path towards responsible and sustainable AI. In the same way, it participates in the events and seminars organised by Forética on this matter, with the aim of sharing responsible practices in the application of AI with other companies in the Spanish business ecosystem.

During 2025, Atresmedia continued to develop projects for different use cases of these tools across various areas of the Company, with the objective of generating competitive advantages and achieving tangible results that contribute to optimising the business and its processes. A notable example is the use that Antena 3 Noticias and laSexta Noticias are making of artificial intelligence tools to strengthen the fight against misinformation and combat the spread of hoaxes and false claims.

Likewise, throughout 2025, the Group continued using artificial intelligence-based solutions to improve the accessibility of its content, mainly through automatic speech recognition applied to subtitling. In parallel with these projects, it continued to analyse new opportunities arising from this technology.

Looking ahead to 2026, Atresmedia continues to research and develop applications in areas such as cataloguing, audio description and Spanish Sign Language (LSE) in order to improve content accessibility. In addition, the Group offers its employees the opportunity to receive training in Artificial Intelligence so that they can understand its advantages and associated risks, remain at the technological forefront, and use it safely and efficiently in the course of their work.

Finally, it should be noted that the Atresmedia Group, as an active member of the Responsible Media Forum, will take part in 2026, together with other international media companies, in the various workshops on Artificial Intelligence organised by the forum. This topic has been chosen by the sustainability working group as the main issue to be addressed during 2026, given the relevance and impact it has on the media and on the future of information.
