The 5th Voluntare International Congress brought together more than 300 professionals from the business, social and academic sectors in Madrid to reflect on the present and future of corporate volunteering. Organised by Voluntare and held at Fundación Repsol's campus, the event has established itself as the leading Ibero-American forum dedicated to promoting corporate volunteering as a tool for generating social impact.

Once again, Atresmedia participated as a media partner of the congress, alongside Corresponsables, supporting a meeting point where companies, foundations and social organisations shared experiences, best practices and key learnings on some of the sector's most pressing challenges.

The programme featured 13 sessions and nine hours of content, with 40 speakers representing more than 160 companies and social organisations. Key topics included volunteer engagement, impact measurement, leadership, cross-sector partnerships, and the strategic role of corporate volunteering in addressing major social and environmental challenges.

One of the main milestones of this year's edition was the launch of the Voluntare Manifesto, a document that will define, through a participatory process, the principles and commitments that will shape the future of corporate volunteering. The drafting process will continue at upcoming events in Medellín and Barcelona, incorporating contributions from companies, social organisations and volunteers from different countries.
