A group of Atresmedia Volunteers took part in this environmental initiative on Saturday, May 24, walking through different areas of the reservoir and collecting litter such as cigarette butts, plastics, cans, and bottles. These items not only spoil the landscape but also pose a serious threat to local wildlife and marine ecosystems, as many of them eventually end up in our oceans. Among the volunteers were families who turned the cleanup into a game for the little ones, helping instill respect for the environment from an early age.

Before the activity began, participants attended a short talk about the importance of these efforts and where improperly discarded waste often ends up. Throughout the morning, the volunteers split into groups, carried out several cleanup rounds, weighed the collected waste, and reflected on the need to reduce consumption and adopt more responsible habits.

With this new edition, Atresmedia strengthens its commitment to raising awareness among employees, their families, and friends, while also taking direct action to care for the environment. This initiative is part of the ongoing environmental engagement of Atresmedia Volunteers.
