On Saturday, 20 volunteers accompanied 31 older residents from a care home supported by the organisation. Music played a central role throughout the morning, bringing together very different generations through musical games such as Hidden Word, Guess the Song and a Musical Bingo, with the aim of making the morning more enjoyable and stimulating participants’ memory.
During the activity, music became a shared space that encouraged conversation and the exchange of everyday stories and anecdotes between volunteers and residents. At the end of the session, both groups shared something to eat.
This activity marks the third collaboration between Atresmedia and Fundación Talento-MCR, an organisation that promotes creative projects as a tool for social inclusion across different groups. In 2024, volunteers took part in a creative workshop focused on inclusion and sustainability for people with disabilities, followed in 2025 by an activity supporting older people through creativity, adapted to their personal stories and experiences.
