Together with their team, Atresmedia Volunteers served breakfast and helped facilitate access to the Embajadores shower facilities, a key resource for personal hygiene for people who, due to their experience of homelessness, have no other alternatives. In addition, socks, underwear and scarves donated by Atresmedia were distributed, helping to cover basic needs that are especially important at this time of year.

Beyond material support, the day also made it possible to create a safe space for listening and respect, something that is not always present in the daily lives of people living on the streets, who often face situations of invisibility or even aggression.

This collaboration builds on the one carried out with Granito a Granito two years ago, when we took part in the distribution of hygiene kits for people experiencing homelessness. Initiatives like this help reinforce the work carried out on the ground by specialised organisations.
