The activity, centred around a mug painting workshop, served as a starting point to share a common space through creativity and conversation. Beyond the activity itself, the gathering created a calm environment where listening and closeness naturally took centre stage.
Fundación Eddy-G works precisely to create this type of context: safe spaces for these individuals, where they can live without having to justify themselves and where they can move forward towards an independent life with emotional, social, and professional support.
“Taking part in this activity was a wonderful experience in which I was able to share moments, ideas, laughter, and interests with incredible people who strive every day to achieve their goals despite the challenges and discrimination they face in their lives,” said one of the Atresmedia Volunteers who attended the activity.
The activity showed how creativity can become a natural way to share, talk, and connect through each person’s experience.
