Thanks to this soup kitchen in Madrid, every day more than 700 people can eat with dignity, either in the facilities or taking home a prepared bag with food for a whole family. In order to carry out this task, the entity needs voluntary assistance and that is why Atresmedia Group, through its employees and relatives, has been supporting this cause for five years.

Ángeles, a regular volunteer and journalist at Noticias Antena 3, explains: "I go to volunteer at the soup kitchen to do my bit to the immense work done by the nuns and volunteers. There are many people who do not have the great luck of having a family, health, a job and a stable life, and I think it is a good way to help them and also to return a part, even a very small part, of everything that life has given us. I also like to take my daughter to help and be aware of other realities in life and that it is important to help those who need us".

Like Ángeles, many other volunteers go with their family or friends to volunteer, which, in her words, "provides an approach to life, and -above all- the immense satisfaction of helping". In the end, even though each volunteer has a job or a different personal situation, all the volunteers agree on an idea: "I leave with much more than what I contribute".
