Atresmedia’s responsibility toward the social sustainability of its content is especially evident in critical political, economic, or social situations, where truthful, high-quality information is essential. It is also reflected in its commitment to acting as a social loudspeaker, showcasing the diversity of society and giving visibility to different social causes, thereby contributing to public awareness and engagement through the development of various campaigns and initiatives.

In this regard, Atresmedia formally sets out its commitments to society through its General Sustainability Policy, updated in 2025 to adapt to emerging societal changes. Alongside this policy, approved by the Audit and Control Committee, the Group has additional policies and commitments in place that further reinforce its dedication to society and the environment:

As mentioned above, the principles and commitments set out in the General Sustainability Policy are an essential element in establishing the Company’s strategic priorities and guide the actions planned to achieve them.

Atresmedia’s Sustainability Committee, established in 2010, meets annually to address the Company’s sustainability challenges and objectives from a cross-cutting perspective, thanks to the representation of different corporate areas that are key to the successful day-to-day management of sustainability (Human Resources, General Services, Operations Management, Internal Audit, Corporate Governance, Advertising, Content, News, Suppliers, Finance, and Strategy).

Additionally, the Group annually reports on the progress made against the commitments set out in the General Sustainability Policy, both in its Non-Financial Information Statement and Sustainability Report, as well as on the Atresmedia Sustainability website, which is continuously updated, and in its non-financial dashboard.

Atresmedia offers a model based on quality that is committed to the social sustainability of its content

For all these reasons, and given that Atresmedia considers the integration of sustainability into its strategy to be essential, the Group is committed to understanding best practices identified in other sectors, as well as ESG trends and regulations that may have a direct or indirect impact on the Company. In this regard, Atresmedia actively participates in the Transparency and Good Governance, Social Impact, and Climate Change clusters within Forética, a leading organisation in sustainability and corporate social responsibility in Spain. It also maintains active involvement in the activities of the UN Global Compact and in the quarterly meetings of the Responsible Media Forum, benchmark organisations that promote the integration of social, environmental, and governance aspects into corporate strategy and management.
