Fundación Atresmedia, as an independent Group entity, has its own strategy based on three strategic courses of action. Humanising children’s hospitals Goal Actions in 2017 Challenges - 2017 Achievements - 2017 Challenges - 2018 Helping to humanise children’s hospitals by: • Informing children of the procedures they undergo • Offering entertainment to child patients • Raising awareness among all the agents involved in paediatric healthcare • Canal FAN3, the first television channel specially designed for hospitalised children, is now shown in 147 hospitals • 12 visits paid by famous people to children’s hospitals, over 20 radio workshops at hospitals, actions to encourage reading, drawing contest, etc. • Celebrating National Hospitalised Children’s Day alongside 19 organisations • Joint organiser of the National Hospital Optimista Awards • Increasing the number of hospitals at which actions and initiatives are carried out to over 175 centres from across all of Spain • Celebrating Hospitalised Children’s Day by bringing together over 15 entities that work with children at hospitals • Creating a taskforce to measure levels of humanisation at children’s hospitals • Various actions to offer information and entertainment at 180 hospitals • Holding Hospitalised Children’s Day along with 19 other entities • Creating a special taskforce and working on a tool to measure levels of humanisation at hospitals • Launching a tool for measuring humanisation at children’s hospitals. • Open the celebration of the Hospitalized Children to other entities interested in supporting Normalising disability Goal Actions in 2017 Challenges - 2017 Achievements - 2017 Challenges - 2018 Helping to normalise disability within the audiovisual sector and in society in general by • Improving the training of disabled people. • Job placements within the audiovisual sector. • Raising awareness among the media and society in general. • Modifying the PRO Project, the first audiovisual academy for the disabled, which granted nine grants to help disabled individuals pursue master’s degrees, expert courses and vocational training in subjects relating to 3D animation. • Awareness campaign in partnership with Fundación Ranstad, featuring a number of disabled people who hold management positions at different companies. • Awareness Days in cinema and TV festivals. • Awarding grants to disabled students who are pursuing studies in 3D animation and related subjects. • Raising awareness of disability among the main agents and players involved in the audiovisual sector. • Raising awareness of disability across society in general through a TV and radio campaign that aims to normalise the subject by making it less of an issue. • Awarding nine grants for different courses (master’s, expert course or vocational training). • Holding awareness events at Film and Television Festivals, production companies, etc. • Launching an awareness campaign in December alongside Fundación Randstad. • Staging disability awareness events at all the film and television festivals. • Widening the awareness campaings of disability 7.
