Atresmedia has joined the 'All Against Cancer' initiative, promoted by the Spanish Association Against Cancer, to contribute to surpassing the 70% survival rate by 2030. This goal involves creating a movement that brings together the entire population, businesses, entities, public administrations, and media to meet this common challenge. Atresmedia therefore commits to promoting this initiative through its own channels, contributing to raising awareness about the need to promote cancer research, prevention, and early detection to achieve the goal

The President of the Atresmedia Group, José Creuheras, and the President of the Spanish Association Against Cancer, Ramón Reyes, signed the agreement to join the 'All Against Cancer' initiative yesterday afternoon at the headquarters of the audiovisual group. This alliance also coincides with the commemoration of World Cancer Day, which takes place this Sunday, February 4.

Ramón Reyes, President of the Spanish Association Against Cancer, stated during the event that cancer "is a disease that to a greater or lesser extent will affect us all and whose consequences harm the patient at a personal, family, social, economic, and work level. Given that 38% of the cancer population is part of the active population, we consider the involvement of companies fundamental, as they can act as a lever for change and help not only prevent cancer but also alleviate its consequences."

José Creuheras, President of the Atresmedia Group, expressed that "at Atresmedia, we are very proud to support this initiative of the Spanish Association Against Cancer and contribute to early detection, research, and improving the quality of life of cancer patients." "We are aware that we can make a positive impact on people's lives and contribute to raising awareness in society, thanks to the rigorous information and awareness messages we send through our broadcasting channels, which we are happy to offer in service of this cause," he added.

'All Against Cancer' is an initiative declared by the Government of Spain as an Event of Exceptional Public Interest, which aims to create a movement that brings together the entire population, businesses, entities, public administrations, and media to achieve a common goal: a 70% survival rate by 2030. For this reason, the Spanish Association Against Cancer is promoting the adherence of media and companies to multiply resources and capacities in favor of improving cancer care, dissemination, prevention, and research. Such collaborations are crucial for raising awareness among citizens.
