The United Nations General Assembly established December 5 as the International Volunteer Day to thank all volunteers for their efforts to promote the common good and disseminate their work. Atresmedia wants to join this celebration and congratulate all their volunteers who get involved in the Company's Corporate Volunteering program every year.

At Atresmedia we demonstrate our responsibility as a communication media by helping the Voluntare network to turn this message into global. For this reason, we sensitize society about the importance of volunteering broadcasting their spot, which we have produced, on all our television and radio channels.

Atresmedia's Corporate Volunteering program has been running for almost fifteen years, putting the potential and professional skills of the company's employees at the disposal of more than 50 non-profit organizations that work with different groups and social problems. More than 2,000 volunteers, employees and their families have contributed over the years to more than 170 activities and projects and have donated more than 33,100 hours of their time. Some of the latest volunteer projects promoted by Atresmedia are the Book Clubs for the elderly, the creation of videos against social and labor exclusion or the #AisladosPeroNoSolos volunteering initiative that was developed during the toughest moments of the pandemic to accompany the most vulnerable groups.

Actions like these show that behind every change, no matter how big or small, there are people taking care of other people. And that's the engine that never dies.
