On June 3rd, a group of Atresmedia Volunteers, along with their family and friends, explored the city center of Madrid in a collaborative scavenger hunt with migrants, supported by the organization La Merced Migraciones.

On May 20, 41 Atresmedia employees and their families signed up for an environmental awareness activity aimed at learning about the work and importance of bees (and other pollinators) in the environment, thanks to the Ecocolmena association.

On the 2nd anniversary of the launch of Atresmedia's Book Clubs for the elderly, and coinciding with World Book Day, we held a visit accompanied by Atresmedia Volunteers so that the members of one of the reading clubs could get to know the Group's facilities.

On March 25, Atresmedia Volunteers went to one of the Fundación Manantial buildings where they care for people with mental health problems, in Alcorcón, to paint the walls and improve their facilities.

On Saturday, March 4, Atresmedia Volunteers had the opportunity to share a culinary workshop during the morning with refugees from CEAR, the Spanish Commission for Refugee Aid, in where they practiced Spanish and learn about traditions and recipes from all over the world.

On February 18, Atresmedia Volunteers shared a leisurely morning with people from Hogar Sí – Fundación RAIS in which they were able to learn about their reality while chatting and visiting an immersive exhibition.

After cancelling the activity due to the arrival of Covid-19, the Atresmedia Volunteers were finally able to go to Asociación Antares headquarters to share a morning of crafts and fun with the young people with intellectual disabilities that this entity cares for.

On December 20, Atresmedia Volunteers celebrated the last volunteer activity of the year, aimed at children and young people with cancer from Fundación Aladina.

The solidarity event ‘Te invito a cenar’ celebrated its tenth edition at Mirador de Cuatro Vientos, in Madrid, thanks to the work of more than 500 volunteers, including Atresmedia employees along with their family and friends, who served a special Christmas dinner to more than 1,000 people at risk of exclusion.

The Solidarity Action and Volunteering Week for Companies, organized by Forética, has established itself as the benchmark initiative in the field of corporate volunteering and employee solidarity action, benefiting in its 12-year history to 306,342 people by more than 42,000 volunteers from 605 companies that have collaborated with 810 organizations. For another year, Atresmedia was media partner of this iniciative.

On September 24, Atresmedia Volunteers participated in an activity with people with mental disabilities from the Manantial Foundation in an indoor climbing wall, to work on raising awareness of disabilities through inclusive recreational sports.

On November 5th, Atresmedia Volunteers shared a day at the Alcobendas Science and Technology Museum with children at risk of social exclusion from Fundación Senara.

A group of Atresmedia Volunteers went to the vicinity of Arroyo Culebro, in Madrid, on Saturday, June 11, to collect waste in the area and join the Libera initiative ‘1m2 against garbage’, in which this year 11,000 people from all over Spain participated.

After the pandemic, in 2022 we recovered the face-to-face volunteering activities, including the one that takes places in Santa María Josefa soup kitchen, where volunteers have been helping for more than nine years with the daily tasks of the center and attending to people without resources in the area. This 2022, we will support their work in six different occasions.

Almost 200 people, representing 69 companies and 75 social entities from 23 countries, participated in the Voluntare's 3rd International Congress of Corporate Volunteering, held on June 7 and 8, 2022, on the Repsol campus in Madrid, organized by the Voluntare network with the support of Atresmedia as media partner.

28 Atresmedia volunteers, made up of company workers and their relatives, went last Saturday, May 28, 2022, to the shelter of the National Friends of Animals Association (ANAA), in Valdetorres del Jarama, to visit the facilities, learn about the work they carry out and help with cleaning, organizing and caring for animals.

For another year, Atresemedia collaborates as media partner of the Voluntare International Corporate Volunteering Congress, which will be held on June 7 and 8, 2022 with a very diverse program of activities.

Atresmedia Volunteers accompany, once again, the children and young people who are going through cancer and who are attended by Aladina Foundation through online workshops where they connect and learn something new each time. In this occasion, Himar González, presenter of El Tiempo at Antena 3 News, explained the entire process behind the meteorological information of the news from the production of the maps to the moment they are screened on set.

Last Saturday, a team of 35 Atresmedia Volunteers enjoyed a day together with people with intellectual disabilities who work at El Molino Municipal Occupational Center, managed by Aldaba Foundation, learning what their day-to-day life is like in the vegetable garden, looking after farm animals and crafting workshops.

Books write stories and the Atresmedia Book Club’s one has just completed its first year of life. Exactly one year ago this initiative was launched, coinciding with Book Day, to accompany the elderly through reading with meetings led by volunteers from the group. Now, the Book Clubs reach their anniversary by celebrating their first face-to-face meeting with the participation of the author María Dueñas.

The Atresmedia Volunteers continue to accompany the children and young people who are suffering from cancer and who are cared for by the Aladina Foundation through online leisure workshops such as the one led by Sandra Golpe, presenter of Antena 3 Noticias, in which she told them how a news programme is prepared and the best anecdotes of her career.

A team of 40 Atresmedia Volunteers, made up of employees of the Company and their families and friends, took part in an environmental volunteering activity together with Reforesta Association in which they planted more than 100 bushes in the vicinity of Madrid with the aim of halting the impact of deforestation and the consequent desertification of the area.

Once again, Atresmedia Volunteers collaborated with Fundación Aladina through its online leisure program ‘Juntos desde casa’, showing young people with cancer some of the secrets of television: how the clothing and tailoring department works and and how the sets of various Atresmedia tv programs look like from inside.

This Christmas, more than 160 Atresmedia volunteers joined the Adopta un Abuelo solidarity initiative to accompany, through letters, elderly people who live in residences in our country and feel alone on these dates. In Spain, 360,000 elderly people live in residences and 60% do not have visitors.

Atresmedia has been one of the entities recognized in the 7th Edition of the Supercuidadores Awards for its corporate volunteering work through its online Book Clubs for the elderly, a corporate volunteering activity where Atresmedia Volunteers share time and experiences with people older through books.

Atresmedia hosted again at its headquarters the presentation event of the Corporate Volunteering initiative known globally as Give & Gainand renowned in our country as the Week of Solidarity Action and Corporate Volunteering. This 11th edition of the initiative, organized by Forética, the leading association of companies and professionals in Responsabilidad Social Empresarial (Corporate Social Responsibility) in Spain and Latin America, was hold from December 10 to 20.

Atresmedia employees collaborated one more year with the Food Banks of Spain during the ‘Gran Recogida’ campaing of 2021, reaching € 3,342, equivalent to 3,008 kg of non-perishable food.

Atresmedia Volunteers, along with their families, learned the importance of caring for the urban biodiversity that surrounds us from SEO BirdLife and built 60 birds feeders to help them get food in winter.

The project ‘Partners for a day’ of Fundación Junior Achivement, in which Atresmedia has participated through its Corporate Volunteering, aims to bring the reality of the world of work closer to young students. Different professionals from the company collaborated through various training sessions where they shared their experience with the students and answered their concerns.

Every summer, Atresmedia Volunteers go to Fundación Balia centers in Madrid to help in their summer camps aimed at children and young people at risk of social exclusion, collaborating in their leisure activities and educational workshops.

On the occasion of the International Volunteer Day, Atresmedia has broadcast free of charge, on its television and radio channels, the spot that Voluntare has developed together with United Nations Volunteers.

The new action of Atresmedia’s Corporate Volunteering focuses on young people through ‘Socios por un día’, the programme of Junior Achievement Foundation, a collaborative proyect between companies, schools and social entities that brings the working reality of several sectors closer to students from 15 to 20 years old.

The social entity Amigos de los Mayores collaborates with Atresmedia Volunteers through the Book Clubs for the elderly, a corporate volunteering project that already accompanies almost 80 elderly people from all over Spain, framed in Crea Cultura and with the support of Grupo Planeta.

During the last months, Atresmedia Volunteers have carried out a project for Fundación Tomillo, an organization that works with children and young people (and their families) at risk of social and labour exclusion, which focused on the creation of three video tales for kids and a tutorial on personal image and job orientation.

The initiative, which involves more than 50 older persons who will read The time in between (El tiempo entre costuras), has been carried out by Atresmedia Volunteers with the collaboration of the association Adopta Un Abuelo and the NGO Grandes Amigos, framed in Crea Cultura and with the support of Grupo Planeta.

During the last months of 2020, Atresmedia volunteers have been collaborating with Fundación Aladina with the aim of teaching and entertaining young people with cancer throughthree new online workshops.
VIRTUAL FOOD COLLECTION
This year, Atresmedia Group employees have made an extra effort to help the Food Banks of Spain during the Gran Recogida Virtual (Great Virtual Collection), providing the highest number of donations in recent years in the company: a total of € 6,371, donated through a corporative online cart that have been transformed into 5,733 kilos of non-perishable food.

This tenth edition of the iniciative organized by Forética, the leading association of companies and professionals in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Spain and Latin America, was held from December 10 to 20, benefiting more than 120,000 people.
ONLINE VOLUNTEERING
Atresmedia continues to collaborate with Fundación Aladina through its corporate volunteering activities, now through its online leisure program ‘Together from Home’. Atresmedia Volunteers thus organize different online workshops to entertain the Friday afternoons of the young people with cancer that the foundation attends.
COLABORATION WITH VOLUNTARE
Voluntare has launched the ‘Guide for the resumption of face-to-face volunteer activity. Exposure to Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2)' which has been prepared by a working group in which Atresmedia has participated together with experts in occupational risks prevention and other volunteer managers of companies and social entities members of this network, such as Cruz Roja Española, Fundación Adecco, Fundación Vida Sostenible and GN Medioambiente.
VOLUNTEERING FROM HOME
Atresmedia Volunteers, through an initiative of the Randstad Foundation, will tailor 2,500 transparent face masks from their home for deaf people and their surroundings, facilitating their communication through lip-reading and their protection.
WE INCREASE THE COLLABORATION
After 7 years collaborating with the Santa María Josefa de Vallecas soup kitchen, this 2020 we will once again increase our commitment: Atresmedia Volunteers will be able to help one more day in the year in this social entity from Madrid.
VOLUNTEERING WITH ALADINA FOUNDATION
Since 2018, more than 50 Atresmedia Volunteers have accompanied children and young people who go through cancer at the Niño Jesús Hospital in Madrid thanks to the Aladina Foundation.
TECH VOLUNTEERING
Atresmedia Volunteers have joined the ‘Cibervoluntarios Responde’ initiative, launched by the international foundation Cibervoluntarios, to help to resolve citizens' questions related to new technologies and thus contribute to palliate the digital divide.
VOLUNTEERING IN THE FOOD BANK
On December 21, 2019, a group of 14 Atresmedia Volunteers went to the Food Bank of Madrid warehouse located in Alcalá de Henares to help in the classification of the 2,750,000 kilos donated by thousands of people in ‘La Gran Recogida’ (The Big Collection) of 2019.
'OPERACIÓN KILO' IN ATRESMEDIA
One more year, we celebrate our food collection campaign at Atresmedia to collect non-perishable food and donate it to the Food Bank of Madrid, which allocates it to more than 200,000 people without resources. Among the donations of all the employees who participated, we managed to collect 423 kilos this Christmas
XIII COMPANIES SOLIDARITY DAY
The Companies Solidarity Day (Día Solidario de las Empresas), the benchmark day for corporate volunteering nationwide, has mobilized more than a thousand employees, in its thirteenth edition, again promoted by Atresmedia and Cooperación Internacional NGO. The initiative has been held in a total of eleven spanish cities (A Coruña, Barcelona, Las Palmas, Seville, Valencia, Vigo, Zaragoza, Madrid, Mallorca, Tenerife and Malaga) simultaneously -with the special collaboration in Madrid of the technological solutions company Bluetab Solutions- and has brought together more than a hundred companies and social entities (50 companies and 53 entities).
